2. Scope of application
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter the “GTCS”) govern any order placed on the consul.ch website.
Any order implies full and complete acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
3. Products and prices
The products offered are wines produced by the Cave du Consul.
Prices are quoted in Swiss francs (CHF), including VAT, excluding any delivery charges.
La Cave du Consul reserves the right to modify its prices at any time.
The applicable price is the one in effect at the time of the order.

4. Availability
Offers are valid while stocks last.
In the event of unavailability following an order, the customer will be informed as soon as possible and may receive a refund or an equivalent product.
5. Order
The order becomes firm and final upon receipt of the email confirmation.
La Cave du Consul reserves the right to refuse any order in the event of a prior dispute or non-payment.
6. Delivery and collection
Delivery area
Deliveries are made exclusively within Switzerland.
Please contact us for export inquiries.
Shipping costs and conditions
The following conditions apply depending on the number of bottles ordered:
1. Order of fewer than 12 bottles
- Delivery: CHF 10.– extra
- Cellar pickup: cellar price
2. Order of 12 to 96 bottles
- Delivery: free
- Cellar pickup: cellar price
3. Order of more than 96 bottles
- Delivery: free
- Cellar pickup: cellar price
Time limit
Orders are prepared and shipped within an estimated timeframe of 3 to 15 business days, subject to availability.
Reception
The customer is required to check the condition of the package upon receipt.
Any anomaly must be reported immediately.
7. Payment
Accepted payment methods are:
- Credit cards (online payment)
- TWINT (online payment)
- Payment by invoice
In the event of payment by invoice, the customer agrees to settle the amount within the specified timeframe.
In the event of a delay:
- suspension of current or future orders
- billing of reminder fees
8. Legal age
In accordance with Swiss legislation:
The sale of wine to persons under the age of 16 is prohibited.
By confirming their order, the customer confirms that they are of legal age.
La Cave du Consul reserves the right to cancel any order in the event of doubt.
9. Returns, claims, and breakage
Returns
No returns are accepted for products that are compliant and non-defective.
Claims
Any claim (regarding errors or breakage) must be reported within 48 hours, accompanied by supporting photos.
10. Liability
La Cave du Consul cannot be held liable:
- improper storage after delivery
- from inappropriate use
- consequences associated with alcohol consumption
Alcohol abuse is dangerous to your health.
11. Data protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with the Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).
They are used exclusively for:
- order processing
- customer relations
12. Intellectual Property
All content on the site (text, images, logos) is the exclusive property of Cave du Consul.
Reproduction is prohibited without written permission.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by Swiss law.
The legal venue is in the Canton of Vaud, unless mandatory legal provisions dictate otherwise.
