Frequently Asked Questions

? It is a blend of Bordeaux grape varieties — Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon — and Swiss varieties, Gamaret and Garanoir. This combination, grown on our slopes in Perroy in the Vaud Côte, produces a complex, structured red with an intense purple hue.
Thanks to its nineteen months of barrel ageing, L’Amphore has excellent ageing potential and can be cellared for many years. Store the bottles lying down, away from light, between 12 and 16 °C. Ideally decant it one hour before serving.
Its roundness and complexity make it the ideal companion for grand meals: red meats, game, hunting dishes, pheasant or a piece of beef in sauce. It also pairs with fine mature cheeses. Serve it between 13 and 16 °C, after aeration.
