Frequently Asked Questions

It refers to the “villae rusticae”, the Roman-era wine estates that already flourished on the shores of Lake Geneva two thousand years ago. The name pays tribute to the region’s winemaking history and to the estate’s heritage, naming its red blend in memory of those ancient roots.
It is a convivial red, made for relaxed meals. It pairs perfectly with grilled food and barbecues, a pizza, a plate of pasta with tomato sauce, a charcuterie board or a homemade burger. Fresh and fruity, it also makes an excellent aperitif wine when lightly chilled.
As it is a light, fruity red, you can serve it between 13 and 16 °C, or even a little cooler as an aperitif or in summer. There is no need to decant it: it is enjoyed young, on its fruit, without waiting.
