Frequently Asked Questions

A sweet wine is served well chilled, between 10 and 12 °C. It can be enjoyed both as an aperitif and at the end of a meal, with foie gras or dessert. Its fine aromatic length and its candied-fruit notes make it a festive, special-occasion wine, perfect for rounding off a meal on a gentle note.
It excels with sweet and sweet-and-savoury pairings: foie gras, blue cheeses, fruit tarts, chocolate desserts and notably a chocolate mousse. Its aromas of apricot, peach and mango respond wonderfully to fruity desserts.
Rich in sugar, a sweet wine generally keeps well for several years in the cellar, away from light, bottles lying down. Once opened, it also lasts longer than a dry wine: a few days in the fridge, well re-corked.
